March 2018 — My hometown is the capital city of our country Nepal that is Kathmandu. Kathmandu is situated in a beautiful valley in the central region of Nepal. It is the only metropolitan city of our country and surrounded by beautiful hills. It is highly populated city of our country. A large number of people from the different part of the country have come to this city for various purpose such as study, job, business etc. Kathmandu is known as the city of temples. Here are innumerable temples of Hinduism and Buddhism. Some of the famous temples are pashupati, swayambhu, boudha, budhanilakantha,etc. Kathmandu is rich in various culture. the newari culture people celebrate various festivals such as Indra jatra, Gai jatra, ghode jatra, bhote jatra, and so on. Here are other various cultures of Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Christians etc. Kathmandu is also regarded as tourist area. Different peoples from different country come here to visit. Since Kathmandu is rich in cultural heritage, natural beauties, resources and wonders. Here are many places and things of cultural historical and religious importance.
